Use of information
Blurcast does not provide or release names or e-mail addresses of users to any third party without the member's explicit permission. We operate an opt-in mailing list for all users for the sole purpose of delivering news and updates specific to Blurcast.tv and related services. Users may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via the "Email Settings" options on the profile edit page.

Upon logging in to the site, cookies may be stored if the "remember me" option is selected. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that the website saves onto your computer's hard drive so that you will be recognised the next time you visit the site. This serves as an alternative to manually logging in each time you return to the site. Please note: no personal information is contained in our cookies - only your chosen username, unique ID and encrypted password will be stored.
Personal information
In the operation of the site, all users are referred and linked to by a chosen username and unique ID number. Information that some users may consder to be sensitive (including forename, surname and email address) may be hidden from public view by choosing the relevant settings on the profile edit page. Actual user forenames and surnames are never displayed publicily and only accessible to Blurcast site administrators.
